California Garden Club Patriotic Tree planted in Scripps Ranch a living tribute to the heroism of the Cedar firefighters

California Garden Clubs is proud to join with garden clubs throughout the nation to plant special trees honoring those who serve our country.

In our state especially, where fires take such a devastating toll, we chose to honor those fire fighters and rescue teams whose dedication and bravery have done so much to preserve our safety.

The men and women of these teams deserve our gratitude and awareness of the risks they take. We are delighted to participate with the Chimney Canyon Fire Safe Council in establishing a line of trees, and in particular this special Tipuana Tipu tree, in their honor.
